Best Practices for Working With Whistleblowers - Webinar

This interactive 60-minute training will provide best practices for working with whistleblowers. Congress' constitutionally mandated oversight work often relies on vital disclosures from Federal workers and employees within the private sector. For that relationship to succeed, offices need the tools to safely and constructively work with whistleblowers – from the initial screening stage to actively pursuing a disclosure.

This training will cover how to:

1) manage relationships with whistleblowers
2) establish an effective case management system
3) protect whistleblower information
4) navigate the legal landscape

Participants will receive a manual and model materials that can be institutionalized throughout the House to establish consistent, safe, and effective practices for working with whistleblowers. This training is brought to you by the nonpartisan, independent Office of the Whistleblower Ombuds.
