Whistleblower Legislation
The Office of the Whistleblower Ombuds provides guidance to the House on whistleblower laws and policies and provides confidential technical guidance on whistleblower legislation. As part of that service, the Office identifies whistleblower legislation as it is introduced in either chamber in the tracker below. The Office has also compiled a list of bipartisan best practice whistleblower law standards.
For the purpose of identifying responsive bills, the Office developed its own definition of "whistleblower legislation." If you believe we are missing legislation in this tracker, please contact us.
